Unwind in a warm outdoor bath where the karri trees meet the ocean

Accommodation in Denmark, WA

Stay at premium self-contained accommodation in the relaxed coastal town of Denmark, WA—just a 4.5 hour drive from Perth along the Rainbow Coast. Tall towering karri trees, white sands, turquoise blue waters, striking granite rocks, protected coves and unique Western Australian wildlife all make up the awe-inspiring natural world you will find here.

The town of Denmark curves along the river towards the Wilson Inlet (Nullaki), a diverse ecosystem teeming with fish, birds and other wildlife. Here you’ll find the emblem of Denmark, the blue wren, as well as the black swan, which gives the town its Noongar name, ‘Koorabup’. The black swan resides in the Denmark river (Bilya) that holds great significance to First Nations people, specifically the Noongar people who are the traditional owners with deep connections to Country (Boodja). Historically the area became an important place for fishing, gathering and cultural exchange between the Minang, Bibbulmun and Wadandi people.

What To Do in Denmark

Denmark has something different and special to offer in every season. Catch glimpses of rainbows throughout the winter, treat yourself to a spa day and spot the whales migrating from as early as May.

Spend spring hiking through forest trails or traverse along the coastline at William Bay National Park to secluded beaches. This is the best time to watch the region come to life with wildflowers that are bursting with colour.

Catch some waves at Ocean Beach or Light Beach in the warmer weather or swim at one of many pristine beaches such as Greens Pool with calm clear waters and soft white sand.

Discover an abundance of gourmet produce, offering everything from cool-climate wines and artisanal cheeses, to local karri honey, and fresh fruits and vegetables.

There is plenty to do on the cabin property with The Dam restaurant on site, as well as the Raintree Farm Marron Catch & Cook that provides an authentic paddock to plate experience.
