Grove to Table: A Culinary Journey

Coming to Esperance – 20th & 21st September 2024

After the success of our first event in the Off the Beaten Track series, we are heading down to the coastal town of Kepa Kurl (Esperance) to host another uniquely West Australian experience Grove to Table: A Culinary Journey, an outdoor dining event nestled amongst an olive grove.

We are excited to launch this event with Grounded: Esperance Hiking Festival, a three day festival to shine a spotlight on Esperance’s hiking trails. After a day of exploring, join us in the evening to unwind with the best local produce the region has to offer. With September set to be even more beautiful than usual with the wildflower season in full swing, this event is not one to miss for visitors and locals alike.

Join us amongst the olive grove by night for an incredible dining experience that showcases local and native Australian ingredients, award winning wine and coastally inspired spirits. The evening will begin at a tiny cabin, where you’ll be given a glimpse into the off grid, secluded experiences in nature that Heyscape creates across our beautiful state.

Nestled under the olive trees at Yirri Grove is a husband and wife duo’s olive farm that’s home to award winning olive oil, a farm shop, and restaurant, where a few of our tiny cabins are located. Once again, we will be partnering with Fervor, renowned for a generous approach to their roving dining experience, world-class cuisine and love and respect for native ingredients. Each dish will be wine matched with a wonderful range of Great Southern wines, produced by Denmark wine producer La Violetta. The team at the Esperance Distillery Co will also be joining us, providing guests with a welcome cocktail featuring their locally distilled spirits infused with Esperance native botanicals. The Distillery will also have additional cocktails available for purchase for guests. Perth jazz singer Catherine Summers and her band will also be joining us, guaranteeing a fabulous night of music under the stars.
