Our Cabins
Our cabins are much more than a just a place to sleep and dream. It’s a tiny cabin that can surprisingly fit all your comforts for the perfect stay.
Fully equipped with maximum comfort in mind from a queen-sized bed & bedding (sheets & quilt), pillows and even reading lights, to an indoor kitchenette and an outdoor BBQ with all your essential cookware and a small fridge to make your favourite, wholesome meals.
We didn’t forget the generously sized bathroom with an indoor shower and an odourless composting toilet.
Final thoughtful touches were made, such as a great collection of games and books for you to enjoy your stay.

What to do
The town of Bindoon is only a short drive away and perfect for a quick trip to get local produce at the Locavore Store. Definitely check out the Bindoon Bakehaus for delicious pastries and bread, or even stay for a meal! This place is truly amazing and a must try.
The Stringybark Winery and restaurant is another of our local favourites. Bruce and Mary are amazing hosts and they sure can cook up delicious dishes!
If you’re looking for a day trip idea, New Norcia is only 45 minutes away and as Australia’s only monastic town offers unique architectural features and interesting sights.

Electric Vehicles can recharge at the Toodyay shire EO chargers in town (50km east). Just be mindful that you’ll need to BYO your type 2 cable and it requires an account on the EO app. Charging at up to 11kw.

OUR TRIP
We arrived at our accommodation at sunset and were welcomed by the curious cows and sheep. We had only driven 40 minutes and we already felt relaxed and excited to settle into the Rimu Lodge. The first thing we noticed is the unique shape of the accommodation, almost everything was made of wood which truly made us feel like we were in a cabin in the forest! The owner showed up soon after we arrived and chatted to us about local activities and the glow worm experience on his land which he…

The ins and outs
Check-in / Check-out
Check-in is any time after 4pm and check-out is before 10am. Early check-in and late check-out options are available at booking time. You can self check-in / check-out so relax and enjoy your stay!
Cancellation
We know that sometimes even the best laid plans go awry which is why you can cancel your booking up to 30 days before and get a full refund minus a 5% admin fee. You can also reschedule your stay or get a 50% refund up to 7 days before the date of your booking by reaching out to us.
Minimum Stay
We have a 2 nights minimum stay policy. This is due to the remoteness of the cabin and the cost associated with cleaning and maintaining it.

Classic cabin
– 1 queen bed, 2 people
- $300 on week nights (Sunday night to Thursday night)
- $340 on weekend nights (Friday and Saturday night)
Premium cabin
– 1 king bed, 2 people
- $590 on week nights (Sunday night to Thursday night)
- $650 on weekend nights (Friday and Saturday night)
The pricing above is inclusive of GST. There are no additional booking fees.
